About this app

Beautiful video should not require a camera degree. Zerotake is a cinema camera designed to stay out of your way. Open it, frame the moment and record with a beautiful look. Tape Mode keeps each new recording in one continuous video. Film breakfast, the journey and sunset; when you press play, the day is already together. It is inspired by camcorders, but made for now. Simple by default. Powerful on demand. ZERO mode is the easy everyday workflow. And PRO mode is only one tap away if you need extra precision. Use the built-in editor when you want to shape the result yourself. Zerotake uses native camera technologies and system design to feel fast, familiar and at home on Apple platforms. Your videos belong to you. Zerotake is designed around on-device processing and private ownership of the files you create. Your videos remain private, completely offline. Zero ads, zero tracking. What's new

Version 1.0.5 · Sep 28, 2026

zerotake now speaks thirty languages, from Japanese to Ukrainian to Arabic. It is the whole app, not only this page: the camera, the editor, every button, and every word VoiceOver reads out. The camera answers VoiceOver too. Focus and exposure used to need a finger on the picture, and now they do not. Hold a take and carry it to either end of the strip: the strip now travels with it, faster the closer you hold it to the edge. Before, a take could only move as far as one finger could reach. A tape with more than about ninety takes opened on an empty strip. The takes were all there and so were their pictures, but the row could not be drawn at all. It draws now, however long the tape is.
