DrainMap

DrainMap on the iPad brings your field drainage plans with you. Design on your Windows or Mac computer, press Send to iPad, and the job opens on the iPad the next time it starts with internet. Everything in the desktop app is here: the water analysis, tile and ditch designs, levelling, the equipment checks, the PDF report and the exports for your displays. In the field • See where you are on the field map with the live position, with the designed tile lines, ditches, waterways and levelling areas drawn around you. • Walk or drive a line and check the design against the ground. • Works without internet once a job is on the iPad. Only the satellite picture under the map needs a connection. Exports to your machines • Trimble FmX, FmX Plus and TMX-2050 field files, with WM-Drain surveys and Auto Slope designs. • Case IH and New Holland Pro 700, Pro 1200 and IntelliView. • John Deere Gen 4 and G5, Ag Leader, Soil-Max, Sveaverken and Ditch Assist. • Exports go to the Files app, from where you copy them onto a USB stick plugged into the iPad. Design tools • Water analysis: flow paths, standing water, watersheds and contours from the elevation. • Tile design with depths, grades and pipe sizes, and laterals laid out from a main. • Ditches and waterways designed to carry the water from a design storm, with the cut volume and cost. • Land levelling with cut and fill. • A PDF report to hand to the grower, the landlord or the bank.
