Grove Git

Grove is a native Git client for iPhone and iPad, supporting code repositories and Obsidian local working trees. Local repositories and Git Create a repository, clone an SSH remote, or connect an existing directory on your device. Browse changes, review diffs, stage files and commit locally. Connected directories remain the same working tree; Grove does not replace them with a copy. Optional GitHub sign-in Authorize a device code on GitHub to browse repositories you own and choose an SSH clone. Registering a device SSH public key requires separate confirmation. GitHub requests repo access (including private repositories) and write:public_key access. GitHub sign-in is optional for local repositories and existing SSH workflows. Sync, merge and recovery Fetch leaves your local HEAD unchanged. Push reports uncertain results honestly. Review text conflicts before applying a merge; unsupported binary or complex conflicts are blocked rather than silently discarding changes. Interrupted and uncertain operations keep their recovery and review entries. Privacy and security GitHub tokens stay in the system Keychain on your device and are not sent to the developer. There is no developer-operated account backend, advertising or analytics telemetry. SSH host fingerprint changes require review. The native SwiftUI interface supports English and Simplified Chinese, light and dark appearance, and layouts for iPhone and iPad.
