Study Buddy: Study Timer

A little company for your revision. Study Buddy tracks your study time and lets a relaxed buddy grow alongside you. Study on your own or pair with a friend, with no rankings. A buddy with something to say Tap your buddy for a reply, or see its greeting as you start a session. Your study minutes help it grow. Taking days off never takes that growth away. Study Pair: support without comparison Connect through an invite link to see your partner’s total today and whether they’re studying now. Your time together helps one shared buddy grow. The “Support” role lets you take part with one cheer a day, including when you’re supporting someone in your family. When both people do their part, it’s a “Pair Day” with extra growth. Subjects, notes and exact session times stay private. Only the person creating the pair needs Premium; joining is free. Time your study, your way Start without setting anything up, pause when you need to and stop when you’re done. Timing continues with the app closed. Pomodoro alternates 25 minutes of focus and 5 minutes of rest, with adjustable durations. Live Activity shows your time and buddy on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Start and stop from widgets or, on iOS 18, Control Centre and the Action button. Hold your iPhone to an NFC tag on your desk to start or stop with a Shortcuts automation, or let a Focus start and stop the timer. If you forget to stop, you get one reminder after 3 hours and can correct the end time later. Exams and Study plans Set a daily goal and add an exam date for a countdown and reminders. Organise Study plans by pasting text, choosing calendar events or connecting a Reminders list. Unfinished plans move to tomorrow, then to “Someday” after 7 days. A record of what you studied Track subjects and Materials, add missed sessions up to 30 days back and edit time, notes or focus ratings. Look back through charts, your calendar and a weekly review. Share today’s study on a card when you finish. CSV export, 12 study tips and iCloud sync are included. Ambient sounds Rain, forest, pencil and library sounds unlock as you level up. They mix with your music and fade out during pauses and breaks. Study Buddy Premium Study Buddy Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription.
