About this app

ttenuator is a practical utility for scientists, spectroscopists, and anyone working with radio frequency sources who needs to calculate power and voltage after attenuation. Enter an input voltage, in Vpp or Vrms, and attenuation in dB to calculate output voltage and power. System impedance can be specified, typically 50 Ω for most RF systems. Attenuator now includes expanded NMR tools for calculating pulse lengths and RF power from reference power and pulse settings. Values can be displayed in watts, dBm, and dB. You can also measure the local magnetic field to check for stray static fields from magnets, and view local barometric pressure, which can be useful when magnet boil-off is unusually high.
