BotanicBuddy

BotanicBuddy helps you identify your plants, keep track of their care, and spot signs of pests and disease. IDENTIFY PLANTS FROM A PHOTO Snap a photo of a plant, or pick one from your library, and BotanicBuddy suggests what species it is, with its preferred light, water and temperature and how to look after it. You get 3 identifications a month free, or 50 a month with BotanicBuddy Pro. CARE REMINDERS Add plants to My Plants and get watering and fertilising reminders on your phone. Each plant starts with an interval based on its species, and you can change it for any plant. Log when you water or feed, and the next reminder counts from then, so BotanicBuddy keeps the history and you don't have to. PEST & DISEASE SCAN Photograph an affected leaf, or point the live camera at it, and the scanner checks for signs of common garden and houseplant pests and diseases, with general guidance on what to do next. It runs entirely on your phone, works offline and needs no account. It is guidance, not a diagnosis; if it isn't confident it says so. PLANT-CARE TIPS A library of more than 50 plant-care guides: Monstera care, orchids, succulents, watering, repotting, pests, pet-safe houseplants and more, in plain English. PLANT TAGS Scan a BotanicBuddy plant label to open that plant's care guide instantly, even before you install the app. BOTANICBUDDY PRO An optional subscription, monthly or yearly, that raises plant identification to 50 a month and unlocks the plant wishlist, for saving plants you plan to buy. Everything else in the app is free. PRIVACY Sign in with Apple, or use the app without an account. No ads, and we never sell your data. Photos you identify are sent to our plant-identification service; pest scans never leave your phone. We use usage analytics, with no advertising identifier, to improve the app. BotanicBuddy is made by Maddisys, a small UK studio. Get in touch any time at john@maddisys.co.uk.
