Foldtype

Foldtype replicates the tactile experience of typing on a typewriter, where every letter, every word, every sentence is carefully considered before being laid down permanently on paper. No cut, copy, paste. Only correction fluid, pen, and highlighter edits. Text stays where it is on the page. A tool for clear thinking; no distractions, no paralysing multiverse of possibilities, only one direction to type in: forwards. Your thoughts laid out one after the other. Ideal for first drafts. Unblock writer's block. Hide the typewriter keyboard and use a physical mechanical keyboard. Move around the page and zoom in and out with your fingers. Sit back and review your prose in read & annotate mode, using the Apple Pencil to annotate corrections or highlight text. Share a playback animation of your text typewritten out in real-time with your friends. Try it now for free. Unlock new sheets, typewriters, and Apple Pencil annotations. Enjoy the focused writing experience.
