About this app
FuelTech Vision is the configuration app for the VisionFT line (FT700, FT700 Plus and FT470): map, internal datalogger and real-time telemetry of your VCU, straight from your iPhone, iPad or computer. MAP Adjust every function available on the VCU: fuel and ignition tables, corrections, ignition cuts, drag racing controls, VE learning, electronic throttle calibration, custom functions and CAN OEM. Changes are sent to the VCU in real time. DATALOGGER Download and analyze the internal datalogger logs, with charts, tables with horizontal scrolling and a compact channel list, on phone and tablet too. TELEMETRY Receive and transmit data in real time. Several team members can follow and adjust the same VCU at the same time, which speeds up the analysis and the adjustments needed. CONNECTION Protected Wi-Fi pairing, fixed IP connection with serial number verification and an Info tab with the VCU serial number and versions. AND MORE • App units independent from the map units, with an instant switch. • Multiple selection of maps and logs. • Screens adapted to narrow phones and 7-inch tablets. The app requires a VisionFT line VCU.

Version 00.03.10.00 NEW ON THE VCU • VisionFT ignition cuts: new cut strategy with advanced prediction of the RPM signal, delivering much better stability at the cut. • CAN OEM: the VCU reads signals from the original car (temperatures, oil pressure, wheel speeds, buttons) with no extra sensor or physical input and, on some vehicles, sends data to the original instrument cluster. • Driveshaft RPM Safe Guard for the drag racing time-based engine RPM controls. • Wheelie control by pitch: with the internal gyroscope, the pitch delay and cut act on the programmed angles, on the FT700 and the FT470. • High-pressure pump (HPFP): cranking drive starts on the first teeth of the trigger wheel, with warnings before saving inconsistent settings. • Custom Functions: Edge pulse and Customizable CAN blocks, actions for the Wastegate and E-Gate target and actions for electric vehicles. IN THE APP • VE learning: the "Apply to VE" button carries all the learning into the VE table, with confirmation of the number of cells that change. • Electronic throttle calibration: when it finishes with warnings, the app shows the before and after and only applies if you accept. • Units: choose whether the app follows the map/log units or your own, with an instant switch. • Connection and security: better protected Wi-Fi pairing and VCU serial number verification when connecting by fixed IP. • Screens adapted to narrow phones and 7-inch tablets: buttons and tabs shrink without cutting text, popups and the numeric keypad stay inside the screen and follow rotation. • Datalogger on phone and tablet, with horizontal scrolling in tables and a compact channel list. • Multiple selection of maps and logs. • Lower battery consumption: animations only run when visible. • VCU Info tab: serial number and VCU versions over Wi-Fi. PLEASE NOTE • Update the VCU together with the app. With different versions, map synchronization is cancelled. • Review the wheelie control before heading to the track if the map uses the internal gyroscope with pitch delay or cut. • PS-100B sensor: the reading now follows the sensor's real range (0 to 100 bar between 1 V and 5 V). Review installations that compensated for the previous scale.
