About this app

Nyanse is the color wheel that finally looks right. Most color wheels are built on math your eyes don't agree with: yellows that glare, blues that sink. Nyanse uses a perceptual color space, so harmonies look balanced the moment you pick them. • Harmonies in one tap: complementary, split complementary, analogous, triad, square, rectangle and monochrome, with a clear "why" behind every palette • Your rules, or none: lock the harmony so it always holds, or unlock it and place every color freely • Vivid colors: one tap gives every hue its most vivid version on the same wheel, from pure yellow to deep blue • Zoom: get closer to colors that sit near each other and fine-tune the small differences • Palettes from photos: point your camera or pick an image, and Nyanse finds the colors that matter, accents included. Share a photo straight to Nyanse from Photos or Safari. Open any palette in the wheel and Nyanse finds its harmony • Every code you need: HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK and OKLCH, with a name for every shade • Explore: hand-picked palettes to start from or remix • Share palettes as a link or a file. Recipients open them right in Nyanse, or see the colors on the web • Made for everyone: VoiceOver, Voice Control and Dynamic Type • In your language: English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Finnish, with color names written for each Nyanse Pro – one purchase, yours for good: • Unlimited palettes, synced with iCloud across your iPhone and iPad • Folders and tags to keep your palettes in order • Export to Procreate, Adobe (ASE), CSS, SwiftUI, JSON and beautiful PNG cards • Color blindness simulation and WCAG contrast checks • Home Screen widgets • Family Sharing included No account, no ads, no tracking. Your palettes stay on your devices unless you share them.

What's new

Version 1.1.1 · Nov 8, 2026

• Share palettes: send a palette as a link or a Nyanse file. If the recipient has Nyanse, it opens right in the app; if not, they see the colors on a web page. Sharing is free. • Folders and tags (Pro): sort your palettes into folders, tag them, and find them again with search. • Nyanse now speaks 12 languages. New: Swedish, Danish, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Finnish, with color names and Explore stories written for each. • 1.1.1.: Copy HEX codes your way: in Settings › Copying HEX Codes, choose whether codes include “#” and whether letters are lowercase. Exports and share links stay unchanged. • Other small refinements.
