BimmerCheck turns your iPhone and a Bluetooth OBD adapter into a diagnostic tool for BMW cars. Read fault codes in every module, understand them in plain words and check a car before you buy it. READ EVERY MODULE • Fault codes from the engine, transmission, brakes, airbags, body, gateway and more — not just the engine. • Each code shows its state: active now, stored, pending. • Clear faults in one module or in all of them, and the app re-reads them right away. WHAT YOU NEED • A BMW F or G series (2010 and newer). • A vLinker MC+ Bluetooth OBD adapter. Other adapters are not supported yet. • Ignition on; the engine does not have to run. BimmerCheck only reads data. The single thing it writes to the car is clearing fault codes, and only when you ask. Coding is not supported.
