GeoMeetUp

GeoMeetup leaves short messages at real places. Be there to post and discover what others have written nearby. When an author leaves, the message stays at its original location. Explore the map to see approximate areas with public messages, then get close enough to read them. Filter the message list instantly by distance from 10 to 500 metres, or choose a date and time window. Browsing the map does not unlock distant message text. Your posts can be public or visible only to you. Replies to public posts can be public or private; once either participant makes a branch private, its later replies stay private. Exchanges have reply limits and there are no permanent friend relationships. You can revisit your own footprints and authorized replies wherever you are. An introduction is optional. Choose a nickname, short bio, communication languages and a built-in avatar, then decide whether to share it. People can view your shared introduction only through messages or exchanges they are allowed to read. It does not reveal your footprint history or current location. You can make your own message private after posting; making it public again requires returning near its original location. Public messages last up to one year, while private footprints have no expiry limit. Nearby adds week, month and year ranges with a movable, resizable time window. Posts and replies are text only. Sign in with Apple without completing a separate registration form. Other users cannot see your Apple identity or use a message to follow your current location. GeoMeetup does not continuously track your location in the background. For adults aged 18 and over. The app provides reporting, blocking, privacy information and account deletion. Returning users can import their own legacy text footprints once, excluding old conversations, photos and recordings. GeoMeetup is free to download. Your first successful new post or new exchange starts one continuous 30-day full experience. No purchase is needed and it does not charge automatically when it ends. Afterward, new posts and new exchanges require an active annual subscription. Nearby reading, your footprints and existing authorized exchanges remain available without subscribing. The annual service is an auto-renewing subscription, priced at A$9.99 per year in Australia. Apple shows local storefront prices and the applicable service period and renewal terms before purchase. Manage or cancel renewal in Apple subscription settings. Payment does not expand physical-presence access or reply allowances.
