The app supports both PDF and various XML document formats (Such as Boeing FTID, GDS XR Aviation, YonderMinds) with full text search across all documents. Additionally the app can be used to distribute training material and videos in the most commonly used formats. Please note that this application is only meant for users with access to an DocBrowser Content Distribution Server. Specific server and user account information is required in order to retrieve any documents with this application.

What's new

Version 7.0.0 · Nov 2, 2026

iDocBrowser 7.0 is a complete redesign, rebuilt from the ground up for speed and stability. • New sidebar navigation keeps What's New, History, Saved, Topics and Glossary always within reach. • The What's New view separates required reading from other updates, tracks your confirmations, and shows how much changed in each revision. • Smarter search: it now understands British and American spelling (colour/color) and common aviation abbreviations, shows you the best matching passage, and opens the document right at it. Smart or exact-phrase modes. • Optional AI summaries of new documents, generated entirely on your device. Off by default — enable them from the What's New filter menu. • Ask Siri "What's new in iDocBrowser" for a spoken briefing of unread publications. • A unified reader for all formats, with outline navigation, page thumbnails and a faster scrubber. In structured manuals the outline now follows along, highlighting the section you're reading. • Glossary: built from the abbreviations and definitions in your operator's own manuals — browse every term, or look one up on the page you're reading. • Bookmarks, annotations and favourites now sync across your devices. • Organise your saved items with colour-coded topics. • Read Aloud: have a document or a single section read to you, with adjustable speed and lock-screen controls. • Open cross-referenced documents side by side. • A built-in user guide, always available from the account menu in the sidebar. • Rescue mode can now import documents from a backup archive or files shared from other apps, for temporary viewing if your library is ever unavailable. • A redesigned Quick Links home-screen widget. Some AI features require a device with Apple Intelligence.
