About this app

MapMirror gives everyone at the table a shared, living map to look at your world, city, region, or battle. Point at a door, measure a spell's range, reveal the next room, and your players see it live. It's made to support your in-person TTRPG game, not digitize it. You keep rolling real dice around a real table. MapMirror is simply the map they gather around, with your cities, regions, and dungeons linked into one connected world instead of a random pile of images. Connect a TV wirelessly with AirPlay or a monitor over a cable, and the map mirrors live. For the optimal experience we recommend an iPad with Apple Pencil. On iPhone and Mac you get a dedicated interface adapted to the platform. • Square & hex grids with real-distance calibration • Tokens, labelled markers, and fog of war • Draw on multiple layers, from a quick sketch to a map you build up over sessions • Link maps with markers and jump from the world map into a city or dungeon • Measure distances in your own units, point things out with the laser pointer • Control exactly what your players see and plan ahead in private • Notes, folders, backups, and image export No account. No internet needed. Nothing leaves your device. Free to try with every tool unlocked. The free version includes: • 2 maps and 1 note • 4 tokens per map • 2 markers per map • 2 texts per map • 2 drawing layers per map Backups and map export are part of the full version. One purchase lifts all limits and you keep it forever. No subscription.

What's new

Version 1.1.3 · Nov 1, 2026

Version 1.1.3 As I unexpectedly found out, iOS 27 broke several essential features of the app. Once again, Apple made changes without regard for existing apps. I have fixed them as quickly as possible with this update. A bigger update is coming soon Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug on iOS 27 where the measuring pen, pointer, shapes, fog of war and the other custom tools no longer drew on the map - Fixed a bug on iOS 27 where AirPlay and connected displays showed a copy of your screen instead of the presentation - The transition when presenting via AirPlay is no longer perfectly smooth, and unfortunately Apple does not yet offer a way to improve this - Fixed a bug on iOS 27 where the toolbar on the map and in the library showed a background bar
