What's new
Version 1.4.1 · Nov 2, 2026
- Scope discovery: in Passive or Hybrid mode the app can ask nearby repeaters which scopes they carry and add that to the map. Off by default, in Settings > Wardriving. Needs companion firmware v1.16.0 or newer. - Multi-region groups: drive from one region into another in the same group and your session carries on without stopping. - The coverage map now shows coverage at every zoom level, and tapping a repeater shows the scopes it carries. - Repeater Nicknames: give repeaters your own short names, shown in Top Heard, the Live Activity, CarPlay, Apple Watch and Siri. Top Heard can also show repeater names and from 3 to 8 rows. - Smart Pinging: a new Delay only flood pings switch, on by default. Discovery requests always go out, and flood pings wait only in squares with a recent two-way result. - A Cancel button while connecting to your radio, and an update screen when your app is too old to connect. - Altitude is now sent with how it was measured, so MeshMapper can show your height above sea level and above the ground. Fixes: - New dots stopped appearing on the map after about 500 pings on long drives. - Logging in to a repeater failed on radios with a large contact list. - A bad altitude or GPS reading could end a drive early. - Offline Mode could lose pings when the radio dropped, and the last pings could be dropped on disconnect. - Asking Siri to connect could fail with an unknown error, and the CarPlay card showed doubled text. Requires iOS 15 or later.
