Version 1.1.22 · Nov 5, 2026

We’ve put a lot of love into this update, and we’re excited to share it A fresh sign-in experience Signing in feels nicer now. A silky wave flows in the background, and after you sign in your chats glide onto the screen. Redesigned profiles and groups • Pull down on a profile or group, and the avatar opens out into a full-size photo. • New Voice and Links tabs keep everything you’ve shared in one place. • Invite links are easier to share and reset. • Tap a group’s name in the chat to open its settings. Search inside chats Find any message right in the conversation, even far back in its history. Voice and video notes • Video notes play in a small floating bubble. Drag it wherever you like and keep scrolling the chat. • Recording starts faster, and the camera only turns on once you’ve actually started recording. More fun in chats • Messages made only of emoji now show up big. • Reactions appear instantly, with a little pop and a gentle haptic tap. Sign-up • When you sign up, we confirm your phone number with a call. This keeps bots out of Oriko. • We check your email and username right away, before you get to the phone step. And more • Reply quotes show who wrote the original message. • Group members appear under the names saved in your contacts. • Admin badges in groups no longer go missing. • The Share sheet shows the avatar grid again. • Lots of small improvements and fixes.
