About this app
The SDEV smartphone application lets users locate electric vehicle charging stations through a searchable map with GPS capability and pay for charging on those stations with an SDG&E account. The map enables users to view the status and availability of SDG&E managed chargers near their current location. Once a charging station is selected, driving directions are offered. Also, stations can be saved to the user’s favorites, allowing quick and easy access to the stations they use the most. Additional features include viewing charging session and billing history, managing payment cards, and editing their profile for SDG&E members.

- See all your active charging sessions: sessions started from MyOpConnect or another phone now appear in the app, where you can follow and stop them - with improved backend polling. - We've updated our Privacy Policy. You'll be asked to review and accept it the next time you open the app. A charge already in progress can still be viewed and stopped. - Auto-Charge now confirms whether your vehicle paired, even after you leave the charging screen. - Clear messages when you've reached the daily limit for adding payment cards or the maximum number of saved cards. - Directions on a station's details page now opens Apple Maps or Google Maps. - Bug fixes and stability improvements.
