What's new
Version 1.6 · Sep 8, 2026
Your passport just got a second page. INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE Stamped has always tracked the 1,273 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It now tracks the 849 elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage as well — the music, dance, craft, festivals and food traditions UNESCO protects as living culture, from 157 countries. All three lists are included: the Representative List, the Urgent Safeguarding List and the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices. Search by name or country, filter by list, and mark what you have experienced. Every element opens inside the app with a photo and a description — no trip to the UNESCO website needed. YOUR TRAVELS ON A TIMELINE Record when you actually visited a site, not just when you ticked it off. The new timeline shows everywhere you have been in order, year by year, with a chart of your travel rhythm. FINDING WHAT IS NEAR YOU Site cards now show how far away they are, and a new "Near" sort puts the closest first. Open the app beside a site you have not visited and Stamped offers to check you in. BETTER LISTS One search box now covers names and countries together, with filters for type and status. "Want to visit" is its own list, separate from favourites, so a wish list and a shortlist no longer compete for the same star. AN UP-TO-DATE CATALOGUE All 25 sites inscribed at the July 2026 session are already included, along with fixes to site names, missing countries and map locations.
