About this app

StepDex turns your daily walking into a Pokémon egg-hatching adventure. Every step brings you closer to a new Pokémon and a bigger collection. How it works: Receive a mystery egg, walk in real life using your iPhone’s Motion & Fitness step count, and watch your egg react as you make progress. Hatch your Pokémon, enjoy its celebration and cry, then start your next egg. Features: • Real walking progress from your iPhone’s pedometer • All 1,025 Pokémon species across Generations 1–9, including Legendaries and Mythicals • Different walking goals based on each Pokémon’s hatch requirement • Animated eggs that wobble, crack, and glow as a hatch approaches • A searchable StepDex collection with sprites, types, abilities, and Pokédex entries • Numerical collection sorting, with lowest Pokédex number first by default • Pokémon cry playback, spoken Pokédex entries, and custom nicknames Made for iPhone Duo: A red Pokédex-inspired cover puts your egg progress and collection controls on the closed display. Open Duo to browse your collection alongside Pokémon details or your current egg. Rotate the phone to move the detail screen above the collection. Regular iPhones keep the familiar Egg and Stepdex tabs. Motion & Fitness permission is required to count steps. An internet connection is needed to load new Pokémon information and media. Your collection is saved on your device, and previously cached information can be viewed offline. Make your morning commute, lunchtime stroll, or weekend hike part of your next adventure. How many can you collect?
