SubCav

SubCav is a free youth soccer substitution app that helps coaches run substitutions and share the game with parents. Choose how to coach each game. Automated builds the whole substitution schedule with equitable playing time for every player, and never sits a player two blocks in a row. Manual lets you place every player in every block yourself. Hybrid lets you lock the players you choose into a position for a half or the whole game, and SubCav rotates everyone else. Sub as You Go plans only the starting lineup: line up each substitution during the game and make it with one tap. During the game, one screen is your sub timer and lineup board: the clock, the score, who's on, who's up next, and each player's real playing time, tracked from what actually happens on the field rather than from the plan. A chime and buzz warn you before each planned substitution, or, in Sub as You Go, an optional reminder sounds after each one. The live game runs right on your phone with no signal at the field, and syncs when you're back online. Parents don't need the app or a login. Share a live link and they can watch the game from any phone browser: clock, score, positions, and each player's minutes, updating on their own. Coaches in the US can also text the link to parents who have agreed to texts. Between games, SubCav keeps your season together: results, goals, penalties, and total field time per player, plus a schedule parents can subscribe to in their own calendar app so it stays up to date.
