About this app

WebInspect is a web inspector and debugger for Safari that brings the essentials of desktop developer tools to iPhone and iPad. Features: • DOM: browse the page's HTML as a tree with search, expand/collapse, tap-to-highlight on the page, and live inline style editing. • Console: capture log/warn/error messages in real time with level filters, highlighted search, duplicate stacking, a built-in JS input, and export to a text file. • Network: record fetch/XHR requests and resource loads, shown with coloured status, duration bars and a summary; view headers and body (JSON as a tree), copy any request as cURL or fetch, export HAR or CSV, plus WebSocket monitoring. • Storage: view and edit cookies (with domain, path and expiry), localStorage, and sessionStorage. • Page Info: title, meta, Open Graph, resource counts, load timing, and a security headers check (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options and more). • Floating panel: inspect right on top of the page, or use the toolbar popup. All data is shown locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server or third party. How to use: after installing, go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions, enable WebInspect and allow website access, then use it from the Safari toolbar.

What's new

Version 1.1.0 · Oct 1, 2026

• New Security Headers check: in Page Info, see at a glance which of CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options and others a site sets or is missing. • New export: save Network as HAR (opens in DevTools / Proxyman) or CSV, and Console as a text file. • The floating panel's Console gains level filters and search, with matches highlighted. • Storage: add and clear cookies, with domain, path and expiry shown; long names are no longer cut off. • The font size setting now changes text only — the window no longer resizes. • Fixes: Doc requests are now captured, downloads from the popup work again, and the Network size column no longer overflows.
