About this app
Find Objects is a seek-and-find game played on black and white line drawings. Each drawing hides one kind of thing, anywhere from 3 to 15 times. When you spot one, tap it and it fills with color. Find them all and the picture is done. I made it for people who grew up poring over seek-and-find books, and for kids who are ready for their first ones. I got tired of puzzle games that make you watch an ad or wait for lives to refill before the next round, so this one has no ads, no lives, no account and nothing to buy inside the app. You open it and look. There are 30 puzzles, and they get harder slowly. In the first one, three cats are hiding around a lily pond. By the last, fifteen little stars are tucked between the crowds and food stalls of a lantern festival, some turned sideways and some half covered. Along the way you'll hunt for penguins in a snowy village, ghosts on a haunted hill, rain boots on a wet street and goldfish flopping around a harbor dock. You get five wrong guesses per puzzle, so it pays to look before you tap. The clock starts when you press Start. Each find is worth 100 points, and a find within six seconds of the last one adds 25 more. Finish under par and every spare second is worth 5. Each wrong guess you didn't use adds 50. If you get stuck, a hint circles one you haven't found yet. You get three per puzzle and each costs 100 points. Scores earn up to three stars, and finishing a puzzle opens the next. Par times run from one minute on the first puzzle to just under five on the last. Pinch to zoom in on the busy corners. If you forget what you're hunting for, tap its picture at the top of the screen. Your progress syncs between your iPhone and iPad through iCloud. Menus and results work with VoiceOver, and the app follows your text size and Reduce Motion settings. Sounds respect the silent switch. You can turn off sounds and vibration in Settings, and everything works without a connection.
