About this app

Start your morning with wrist taps instead of instant noise. Set your alarm on iPhone, then open Wake Up on Apple Watch to arm it. Choose Gentle taps that build over three minutes, Steady taps that build over one minute, or Persistent taps every second. Pick no snooze, one five-minute pause or unlimited pauses. When you're up, dismiss from the app. Want a backup? Turn on a phone sound alarm that starts three, five or ten minutes after the taps begin. Snoozing never pushes that sound back. Three rising chimes build from quiet to urgent, followed by a system alarm. Sound follows your iPhone's alarm volume. Before bed, check both batteries, with charging guidance and an optional bedtime reminder. Save weekday and weekend times so tomorrow's alarm is ready; arm it on your Watch each night. Try a practice alarm first to find the pattern that works for you. Optional extras: • Hold-to-finish, so you don't dismiss by accident. • Walking confirmation: with motion permission, the Watch looks for five minutes of walking after the alarm. • Mornings: a 90-day history of alarms and check-ins, kept on your devices. • A Watch face shortcut for quick access. No account, ads, tracking or subscription. Your data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Requires a paired Apple Watch for wrist alarms. Wake Up changes how often taps come, not their strength, and can't guarantee you'll wake. Watch alarm sessions have system limits, and system Stop can end taps. No alarm works on a device without power.
